Ocean Wise is a seafood program with the mission of increasing the understanding of the health of our oceans.
The three criteria of Ocean Wise recommended seafoods:
1- Species are well-managed
2- Species are able to reproduce quickly and are resilient to fishing pressures
3- Limited damage on natural habitats and other species
The Ocean Wise logo next to a seafood item or on its packaging ensures that it is an ocean-friendly choice.
