Ingredients

- thinly sliced vegetables (cucumbers, radishes, red onions, etc.)*

- white vinegar

Directions
- Step 1
- Sterilize the jar and lid.
- Step 2
- In a saucepan, Bring to a boil the maple syrup, vinegar, water, and salt, then let cool.
- Step 3
- Fill a 1-litre Mason jar with the vegetables. Pour the warm liquid over the vegetables, stir in the dill, and close the lid, leaving a headspace of about 1 cm (1/2 inch).
- Step 4
- Proceed with the desired preservation technique. Please note that unsterilized jars must be kept in the fridge.

- *You can mix several vegetables together or separate them into different jars. It is also possible to multiply the recipe according to the amount of vegetables. The goal is to cover the vegetables with the liquid and add the herbs, to taste.
