Directions
- Step 1
- Combine mustard and white part of green onions in a bowl. Coat chicken breasts completely with mixture and marinate in the same bowl for 1 hour in the fridge.
- Step 2
- Add honey, vinegar, and broth to slow cooker and mix to combine. Add chicken breasts and season with pepper.
- Step 3
- Cook for 3 to 4 hours on low, turning chicken breasts once or twice. Chicken is ready when meat pulls away easily. Do not overcook.
- Step 4
- Let chicken cool slightly and then pull away meat. Add cooking juices to pulled chicken and mix to combine.
- Step 5
- Combine sauce ingredients with green part of onions. Set aside.
- Step 6
- Spread sauce on each half of burger buns, add still-warm pulled chicken, and top with toppings of your choice.
